KLRF Launches Solar power operations.
As an initiative to reduce the use of non-renewable energy, we have installed a solar plant with a capacity of producing 1.3 crore units per year.
Sustainability begins at home. As responsible corporate citizens, Kovilpatti Lakshmi Roller Flour Mills Limited (formerly KLRF Limited) is dedicated to the cause of environmental conservation and sustainable practices. Our Wind power generation efforts began over 20 years ago, in 1995 . Today KLRF has a host of wind mills in Aralvaimozhi in Kanyakumari District, Pazhavoor and Radhapuram in Tirunelveli District. We leverage the power generated from our own wind mills to offset a substantial portion of the power consumed by our businesses.
Our entire wind energy operation is fully automated and controlled by an intuitive application on a smartphone. Each windmill is fitted with sensors that automatically update status information directly to the user, and can be controlled remotely through an app.
The windmills are monitored and reported daily across the company to ensure a steady balance of energy consumed and energy generated, with consistent efforts to close the gap as much as possible. KLRF Windmills is a shining example of cutting-edge technology at work every day.
